Reviews and Ratings
I had a comfortable stay overall, enjoying the roomy third-floor accommodations in the Proctor Building. The location was fantastic, just minutes from Acadia National Park, but the service could be a bit more welcoming. The dining experience was great, but the restaurant area felt crowded during breakfast. There were a few cleanliness issues that could be addressed, especially in the rooms.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, being close to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, which I loved. The rooms, although they had a beautiful view, were pretty dated and not very comfortable due to temperature issues. The service could definitely use some improvement, as some staff were not very polite. Overall, it’s a great spot for exploring but not ideal for comfort.
I had a decent stay at the hotel, which is located in a beautiful area with great potential. My room was fine, but I faced a few challenges, like the lack of an elevator in the Proctor Wing. Service was friendly but could use some improvement. The dining experience was a highlight for me with delicious options, though the price for breakfast could be better. Overall, it’s a mixed bag but still an okay value for the cost.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the bright side, the location is perfect for visiting Acadia National Park, and the suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious and comfortable. However, there were some drawbacks, like the unpleasant smell in some areas and a few service hiccups that left me feeling a bit let down. Overall, it offered decent value for money, but it could use some improvements.
I recently stayed at this hotel and while it had some great aspects like a clean and recently updated room, there were also some downsides. The service was quite disappointing, particularly from one staff member, and the dining experience left a lot to be desired. However, the location was perfect, giving access to both the ocean view and Bar Harbor's nightlife. Overall, it was an okay stay but I believe they have room for improvement.
